GASTRAN greatest asset are its interns and volunteers. GASTRAN provides internships and volunteering opportunities for students, professionals, clubs, associations, group and organizations worldwide to contribute their skills, knowledge and expertise towards our vision. Individuals, professionals or groups with a wide variety of skills sets and interest are welcomed. We attach interns and volunteers set skills to assist local organizations such as schools, orphanage, and Community Health Centre. Volunteers and interns desiring challenging experience in a new and exciting environment can apply with GASTRAN. We offer a wide range of opportunities in serving GASTRAN communities and offers.
In general, volunteers working with GASTRAN will contribute their time, skills, knowledge and experience that they have acquired from their education profession and other experience in supporting local communities development. Interns will learn from a professional development context and a real world situation contributing to their current area of studies and building a robust resume. Working with GASTRAN will help broader your knowledge and understanding of rural community development, learn about social work and non for profit organization, appreciate diversity and new culture, values and belief systems, leadership, communication and of course, to have a lot of fun!!
